I am a first generation college student, so receiving this scholarship along with the Glasscock scholarship has provided me amazing assurance that I am on the right path. I work hard in school and am determined to be successful in each of my classes. This scholarship allows me to stay focused on my future and makes me feel so proud of my progress. I am very excited for my future beyond CSU.

This scholarship means a lot to me, not only for financial reasons. It shows me that the hard work I put in to get the best grades paid off. It gave me the motivation to keep trying my best, which I was starting to lose.

I am a non-traditional student. I will be 47 this year. It has been a long road, but I am very grateful for the financial support you have provided me. Also, my son is a college bound high school junior. He plans on studying chemical engineering. I am glad I will receive my bachelors before he begins his program.

It was a financial relief and provided much-needed financial relief to pay for my education. That alleviated stress and allowed me to focus on my academic and personal goals. And it gives me the opportunity for studying abroad, conducting research, and participating in extracurricular activities. Thank you, a lot, for your generosity and support!

Because of this scholarship, I can afford a home. Otherwise, I would be at risk of losing a family home due to losses in my family.
I cannot express how grateful I am to receive such consideration and assistance that will help make a successful pass-through Fenn's and Washkewicz's halls. My hope is to be able to repay this kindness and generosity with a successful career as a CSU alumnus.

This scholarship has helped me financially. I am able to work less hours while in school so I can focus more on my studies. It has also helped me out a lot with gas for my commute to work since I live off campus.
