I would like to express how extremely grateful I am to be a recipient of this award. As a commuter student that needs to work in order to fund my education, the financial support provided by this award was tremendously helpful. Not only did it relieve much of my financial stress, it allowed me to comfortably cut back on my work schedule and devote more time to my studies. I have experienced numerous benefits due to this award over the past semester and cannot express enough how much I appreciate being one of its recipients. Thanks again to the Chia Fan Foundation for its generosity.

Words cannot express how grateful I am for having been awarded the Chia Fan Foundation scholarship. I pay all of my tuition through working at my co-op, so I am grateful to have been able to save some money through this generous scholarship. This has allowed me to work less hours and focus on my academics;
which I am truly appreciative of. I cannot thank you enough for taking the time to create such generous opportunities for students such as myself.

I am so excited to be receiving the Chia Fan foundation scholarship. This will enable me to focus more on my studies due to the financial stability it gives me. This would not be possible without the generous donations of the foundation members and I thank all of you. This is really helpful and I am gracious that I have been selected.

I will be the first to graduate from college from my family and with my diploma, I can have a better, more secure career and future. This scholarship takes a lot of the stress off the finances and allows me to study even harder to learn more and get better grades. I want to Thank each and every person who has placed their trust in me and awarded me this scholarship. This motivates me and pushes me to complete my degree. Thank you so much!

My student loans do not fully encompass the tuition at Cleveland State University. At 34 years old, I have struggled with the cost of an education since I started going to college at 18. With help from scholarships, I can focus more on my education and career instead of working at a job to afford to do so. I am incredibly grateful! I have never received such a large gift from anyone in my entire life and I will remain eternally thankful!

This scholarship allows me to refrain from taking out student loans for another semester in hopes to graduate debt-free with my bachelor's degree and pursue whichever career I choose without the stress of meeting payments. Your generosity allows me to dedicate more time to retaining the information I'm learning in my studies and get involved with more academic-based student organizations.

I am extremely grateful for this scholarship and will forever remember the generosity I received from your foundation. I vow to give back in a similar way as soon as I am in the position to do so because I think it is extremely important to invest in the youth, especially the ones who want to make a change, but do not have the resources.
As a first-generation college student, my education will help my family because I
believe it will help me break the cycle that has been going on for many generations.
